Klaus von Kassel is a stunning 4 year old black and red German Shepherd. He has a tattoo in his ear which is typical of the German imports. There is a registry and his genealogy can be traced usually. He knows his commands and is a super well bred, expensive dog. He loves to play ball. Most of the black and red German Shepherds are from working lines, so they typically like to have something to do. As well behaved and trained as Klaus is we still want him to go to someone who has some knowledge of German Shepherds and their needs, especially a high drive one. Klaus was found wandering lost in Watts with a stunning female whom we will get soon. We were contacted by the dedicated staff at a city shelter because they didn’t want Klaus to end up in the wrong home. Anyone with knowledge of German Shepherds and conformation just won’t believe a dog like Klaus ended up in a rescue group, but sadly it happens too often. We do lots of out of state adoptions, people in other parts of the country just don’t understand how this happens in Los Angeles over and over. We are asking a donation of $425 for Klaus, he is micro-chipped, neutered and up to date on his shots.
